If I am pumping, should I add NutraLac to my breastmilk?

Never add NutraLac to your breastmilk or feed it directly to infants.

Is NutraLac safe for me and my baby?

Yes! NutraLac starts as the bran layer of California rice that our process transforms so you receive its outstanding nutritional benefits. Your body is then able to produce more nutritious breast milk. It is Allergen-free, plant-based, dairy-free, gluten-free, low glycemic, non-GMO, soy-free, nut-free, and vegan. It is a minimally processed, all-natural food supplement containing a balanced profile of plant-based phytonutrients (antioxidants), macronutrients (fat, vegan protein, and carbohydrates), micronutrients (vitamins and minerals), and prebiotics (fiber).

What if it doesn’t dissolve completely?

Because NutraLac contains natural prebiotic fiber, if it is not blended into a smoothie, some sediment may collect at the bottom of your cup. Just swish it around or add a little more liquid.

In what form does NutraLac come?

NutraLac is a tan powder.

What does it taste like?

It’s a very light vanilla honey nut. We love it in coffee. Because the flavor is so mild, it’s virtually undetectable in most smoothies.

Is NutraLac FDA approved?

NutraLac and all other supplements are regulated under the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA). NutraLac is fully compliant with both DSHEA and FDA requirements.

Is NutraLac organic?

NutraLac is not organic at this time.

Can NutraLac be taken with other pre and postnatal supplements?

Yes, but be sure to let your doctor know which supplements you are taking or planning to take. The right balance of nutrients is important.

What is a nutraceutical?

A nutraceutical is a unique fusion of “nutrition” and “pharmaceutical.” It represents a broad spectrum of products derived from natural food sources, each offering enhanced health benefits beyond basic nutrition. These products are formulated to support and optimize various aspects of our health and well-being, offering a proactive approach to wellness that goes beyond traditional dietary practices.

The importance of nutraceuticals lies in their ability to provide a holistic approach to health that encompasses both prevention and treatment.

What are galactagogues?

Galactagogues are substances that may help stimulate milk production.

How do nutraceuticals differ from pharmaceuticals?

Nutraceuticals are supplements derived from natural food sources and contain bioactive compounds, vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients that are believed to have health benefits.

Pharmaceuticals are synthesized or manufactured substances that are specifically formulated to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure diseases or medical conditions and require a prescription.

NutraLac is not a pharmaceutical.

What is an enzymatic hydrolyzation process?

Our enzymatic hydrolyzation process is a biochemical reaction using all-natural enzymes and water to transform the bran layer of rice into a delicious and easily digestible addition to your breastfeeding diet.

Through this innovative process, we break indigestible proteins, fats, and carbohydrates down into easily absorbed amino acids and peptides, polysaccharides, and antioxidants that your body loves.

The result? A supplement with high bioavailability so its benefits are transported through your breastmilk to your baby.

What is bioavailability?

Bioavailability refers to how much of a substance is absorbed into your bloodstream so it can be used by your body. Many supplements are synthetic and only a small percentage of the nutrients listed on the label are absorbed which can be misleading.

Where is NutraLac made?

Proudly made in the USA in FDA-certified facilities.
